The spray is pleasant to humans and, with normal handling, does not cause damage to anything, both living and otherwise. There is no risk of being electrocuted by a malfunctioning collar. It can be confidently said that the citronella collar, since it poses no risks to both man and dog, is safer to use. In a more humane and more eco-friendly society like ours today, the best choice is always the safest and most natural option.
