Honshu, one of the main Japanese islands, is the usual origin of most shiba inu puppies. Shiba inu puppies are quite adaptable pets but their origin’s climate really runs pretty extreme, for Honshu is equipped with a summer of excessive heat and a winter of deep snow. This is the reason why Shiba Inu have great adaptative capabilities, and they can live from one place to another without having any problems in the weather. Characteristics and Traits of Shiba Inu Puppies
The Shiba Inu has an outgoing personality and convenient size and its good nature has made it one of the most loved pets in Japan. With its growing popularity worldwide, it has only been in the last few years that they have seen out of Japan, their native land. They may quite be difficult to train; however, if you handle them with firm and consistent training, they are sure to respond well.
These dogs are like big animals although they have a small body. You might not like a shiba inu if you are a person that might easily get nervous. The good thing about these shiba inu puppies is that they are quite loyal to their owners and they have a great deal of awareness with their actual feeling. Just don’t leave these puppies alone because they really need to be given human interaction. The sound of these puppies is like the sound of a “yodel”. When they bark, they bark for a good reason, because these dogs do not bark that often.
Although the Shiba Inu puppies are favored by some dog owners because of their appearance, it is still quite problematic for a breeder to raise and keep it because of its personality. The appearance of these dogs is more of an orange or red tint. Other colors like black, salt and pepper, black and white, black and tan, are also available. Its fur gives them a foxy look because of its length, thickness and harshness.
The foxy expression, slanted eyes and deep red color are the traits why these shiba inu puppies are being bred down. They also have a trail. These trails curl over their back in a manner that is more of spitz-type. But you do not breed a Shiba Inu just because of appearance. You breed them because of their personality of being a loving and caring one in spite of their stubborn personality. Also, it will be a great reward for you to have a bonding time with this kind of dog.
