Get Shock Collars for a Shorter Training Period with Best Results

Although barking is a completely normal behaviour for dogs, it can get excessive. Carla owns Bronco, a large German Shepherd. When Bronco sees the neighbour’s cats in the garden, he goes barking wild. Something drastic had to be done. Carla consulted her friends. She was told to look into shock collars.

Barking is natural for dogs, but excessive barking is not going to be tolerated in many communities with clear rules. These include no bark ordinances. Those who violate these end up shouldering fines. Add to that the stress owners experience when their dogs won’t shush. That situation does not contribute to good neighbourly relationships. Carla wanted fast results from whatever dog training collar she was to purchase. She has to kids and works full-time - which doesn’t leave her much time and energy for training her dog.

Shock collars belong to a category of no bark collars that include spray and ultrasonic. These types release a harmless fluid and a high-pitched tone, respectively. The sound is annoying only to dogs since humans can’t hear it. When your dog barks, the no bark collar triggers. High quality collars are able to tell whether the loud sound was the dog’s bark, or just a plane flying low, or a truck pulling in from the curve.

Carla examined the various types and decided on the shock collar. The mild electric shock is just enough discomfort to interrupt the dog’s barking, but not enough to harm it. She gave the matter much thought, and concluded she need a collar that her dog couldn’t break; Bronco was big and playful. Her online searching informed her there were collars that were waterproof, and with controls dog’s rowdy playing can’t inadvertently modify.

The shock collar, to Carla’s relief, allows for the amping up of the intensity level of the electric shock; just in case Bronco adapts to the stimulus and barks despite it. Carla enjoys her time with her kids now, more so since Bronco became so behaved, all thanks to shock collars. Bronco’s present no-barking behaviour is getting him more attention compared to his previous behaviour.
